I would recomend Linux mint, but the main thing, get used to the openscource alternatives for your programs you use now while you are still using windows. By the time you swap to linux, you’ll just have to get used to things like using “sudo apt install ****”, appimages and snaps. Just some things that are different about linux. Also I wouldn’t worry too much about trying to use a “gaming” distro. With some elbow grease pretty much any distro can look look and feel the same. All that matters is witch distro starts closest to what you want.

I believe them as far as I can throw them tbh. These guys also bought Last Epoch so they better watch themselves before they get a 2nd game’s community mad at them.

I think SOME of it has to do with AAA being dogshit, but I think a lot of it is actually that they just play roblox. I have been told “why would I buy peak when roblox has this mountain climbing game for free?”

Ah, another post where I get to rant about Piratesoftware. Fuck that self righteous, egotistical, fear mongering, ignorant, big headed, grifting, skript kiddy, cornball. Dude couldn’t be assed even to read the Q&A, then makes up stuff about the initiative out of thin air. Dude is such a little weezel, I can’t BELIEVE he still has a following after his hate campaign against the initiative. The fact that anyone outside of his immediate family cares about what he has to say boggles my mind.
