The other guy (Conservatives) wants to slash public and social services harder and faster out of principle, and to cut taxes more for the rich.
Social Democrats wants to strengthen the economy, and cut public and social services to make them more sustainable in a terrible future where we may have less money and smaller workforce due to demographic issues, and the they also cut taxes for the rich, because they still believe trickle down economics, or at least claim they do.
The difference is marginal. The only difference is that one side cut social services out of principle, the other side does it because they are fooled into believing they have to. to save the economy.
That said IMO Mette Frederiksen has handled 3 major crisis very well. And the Danish economy remains among the strongest in EU.
