I question how this will impact the mother and child bond. It is one thing to grow a baby inside of you and all that comes with that and watching your kid grow in a fish tank.
Then there is how “birth” affects the child. Will it be similar to C-section vs vaginal?
All the same, this is the start of some potentially concerning abilities for bad actors to leverage.
Unless you’re implying that fathers and adopted parents love their kids less than mums, I don’t see the relevance. There’s plenty of bad mums out there despite spending 9 months carrying the baby to term. We are more than hormone response machines.
You are right about shitty parents and wonderful parents existing regardless of how they came to have a child to care for.
Going through nine months of growing a life inside of you is a vastly different context than signing paperwork to form a bond under.
There is a different context for a child who is with their biological parents(s) than an adopted child and their parent(s) to develop under.
What matters most is having good parents, but even things like C-section vs vaginal birth and breastfeeding vs formula do impact the child’s development and Parent-child bonding. Being grown in a vat will have an impact because countless generations have developed inside of their mother and being divorced from that biological condition removes countless stimuli that have been a given since the first mammals we can draw lineage from.

What’s the relevance of pointing out the different context, since we’ve already determined it doesn’t actually relate to how much the parent loves their kid or vice versa?
Parent-child bonding
Again, see above.

Is there any reason to believe we could not replicate said stimuli and conditions if we needed to?
That is the dark possibility. They could come up with all sorts of insane means to justify company owned humans to abuse. Imagine being grown in a vat just to work a job and having no idea of anything else.
The upside is that robots will be a lot more viable and cheaper a workforce than vat babies, so it is unlikely to happen outside of some dystopian colony on another world.

My assumption will be children born into true slavery with this tech, even though it could do much good.
