Do you really think everyone needs to close-chase an enemy ship? Maybe the fastest ship needs to chase, and you larger ships play a blocking role? It’s pretty clear they were trying to ram the Phillipino ship, kind of poetic justice they instead rammed their own. The cameramen’s trust in their captain and ship - they knew they weren’t going to be hit, they made no preparation for it. Fuck China.
