No idea why people buy these. Humane traps are inexpensive, reusable, and effective.

Two reasons: laziness (glue trap goes in the bin without having to clean it, and effectiveness (not much escapes them).

Both are bad reasons, given the additional environmental costs and inhumane method.

Glue traps fail as a long-term solution because they neglect to address the source of the problem: As long as food remains accessible, more animals will move in to take the place of those who have been killed.

Sure, but there are only so many mice in an area and only so many of those that find their way into an undesirable location. You can make better arguments against glue traps than “killing vermin doesn’t make them go away forever”

I have a terrier with a history of mouse murder, but he’s not doing jack against the mice in our creepy attic with exposed fiberglass.

Why Everyone Hates PETA (It’s Astroturfing)

Your claim about them doesn’t discredit their argument.

astroturfing is one thing, them literally disabling farming and logging equipment and chaining themselves to whatever gets the most headlines for them is done all on their own

I mean they care about the animals and nature. Protests are meant to be disruptive. The law is not always moral.

So you’ll follow any law no matter how immoral it is? Good to know you’ll willingly report your local thoughtcrime and anyone else the state demands of you. Failure to do so will out you in jail!

      Citation needed.

Eco-terrorism is a term invented by Ron Arnold, Executive Vice-President of the Center for the Defense of Free Enterprise. If that’s not a conflict of interest, I don’t know what is.
