Here we have on display the smug, ignorant elitism that destroys political movements. Ignore this person for they are no one’s ally but themselves.

No, they’re just not your ally. And because you’re a smug, ignorant elitist, you assume they aren’t anyone else’s. But they are.

Given I haven’t put forth much of an opinion or really anything of substance here, you don’t actually know if I’m smug, ignorant, or an elitist - you’re just pulling insults out of your arse. In fact, you’re just parroting what I said in my last comment. You’re not even original.

According to your other comment, where you claim resorting to lazy insults means one has nothing, you admit to having nothing. Excellent self own, A++.

What “movement” are they promoting? Reformist centrism is pretending to be a “movement” now? LoL. Nice try.

Electing someone to defend the status quo is not a “movement.” You don’t get to appropriate activist language for your liberal bullshit.

Another strawman! You are utterly incapable of addressing the specific point being made, aren’t you?

It’s funny how you call me a liberal as I belong to a functioning leftist political party. I suppose when you have insufficient skills to argue your point, pure fabrication is an option.

Anything else you’d like to make up for your next strawman? These have been pretty mundane so far. Go for something creative!

I don’t think you know what “strawman” means. If you’re referring to the Democrats as a “functioning leftist party,” you don’t even know what “leftist” means. Nor “functioning.”

ROFLMAO. This bloke insults me in one comment, then takes the high ground criticizes me for being insulting in the next. I may not be the smartest or most well spoken, but at least I’m not a self-righteous hypocrite.

      You’re no ally of mine.

Well if not for me; do it for those towing a rifle in Palestine. They need as much respite as they can get.

No I don’t. Corporate dems are still problematic and need to be replaced long term. Still the dem party is still the homeof our progressive movement and we should work to grow it. Voting for the candidates that minimise harm still gas material impact for Palestine and domestic vulnerable groups. Not everyone has a mamdami on their ballot. If you abstain your just letting your peers down and giving them less space to thrive and build local support groups. If you keep discouraging people from voting then your no different from the dems in the meme that keep the wheel from moving back left.
