Republican lawmakers have unveiled a bill to authorize $901 billion in military spending for the next fiscal year. House Speaker Mike Johnson says the National Defense Authorization Act would “ensure our military forces remain the most lethal in the world.” In a statement, Public Citizen’s Robert Weissman responded, “The last person who should be entrusted with an even bigger budget is the dangerous and lawless Pete Hegseth. As Hegseth illegally targets civilian boats near Venezuela with expensive Hellfire missiles, wastefully and recklessly deploys the National Guard in cities around the country, and teases an unconstitutional and costly war, Congress should refuse to add a penny to his budget.”
Meanwhile, lawmakers have attached a provision to the NDAA that would withhold money from Hegseth’s travel budget if the Pentagon refuses to hand over video of the September 2 boat strike.
700 billion of that goes to contractors related to Trump
You forgot the /s
It’s less sarcasm and more not having happened YET.
Do you have a source for this info by chance?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exaggeration
Tagging you as MAGA haha
Did you look at their other comments first, or do you just flush people down the toilet as soon as look at em?
People who defend a fascist regime just get flushed yeah.
People who can’t provide source for their information are disinformation agent or highly regarded individuals; you tell me, which one are you? Getting so offended over asking for source tells me you’re just a sham trying to sway an opinion
Do you think that if a person is a MAGA, they should be treated poorly?
Do you think if they are treated poorly, it’s up to that person to provide “evidence” to other non-involved people?
I, personally do not care about the political alignment of an individual as long as they can reason and provide credibility for their claims.
I know and understand how trump is a corrupt individual but that does not mean I should go around making claims just because it will hurt him.
If a MAGA is treated poorly and they don’t have proof of that mistreatment then it’s simply an opinionated claim at that point until proven otherwise.
What does this have to do with the ‘700 billion claim’ you made though?
It’s cracking a joke about corruption, and having you-a MAGA-say “if you can’t prove it by showing me evidence that you’d never have access to in the first place then you must be wrong”
Please stop making comments on the internet unless you provide hard evidence to support your opinion.
You’re a joke.
Look. This is Lemmy. If the crime of taking me way too literally made people not worth talking to, I’d be damn near alone on this site.
I never said I wouldn’t talk to them.
