when it’s community of one
That’s kinda scary, especially if you take the 1000 times four and make it monthly active users like damn
They’re all just there… watching…
👁️👁️
How many of these people are bots? How many are stale accounts or ban evasion accounts?
Active accounts are by definition, active.
To be fair though, and you know this, some people use multiple accounts on different instances - so any evaluation of subscribers or active users will run into duplicates. Not bots though, or necessarily ‘ban evasion’.
Of course, but the proportion of those accounts should be quite low.
For instance, !fedigrow@lemmy.zip has 488 monthly active users, I would be surprised if there are more than 20 alt accounts out of those.
Oh sure, I wouldn’t say it’s a big number - and I would assume too that alternative accounts on different instances have different purposes with a different set of community subscriptions and visitations.
should it indeed
Woah baby, that’s a lot of eyes on the owls!
Just 116 more to 5k subs and over half are MAU.
I’m glad to see so many people still enjoying the content. I thought people would get bored of one person’s writing after so long. Heck, I thought I’d be bored of it before this long! 😁
Close but in each picture you need 90%+ of the people looking at their phone trying not to be perceived
Nice visualizations!
I don’t run a community here but I thought about my bluesky followers and this kinda terrified me
Realising a lot of them are machine based bots: Priceless
