There will be no reckoning - that the desire to move on and forget all of this will override the desire to punish. That we will rn more “fair” to them than they are to the immigrants they round up.
Personally, I think that ICE should be tried and executed as a class. Allowing the confederates, nazis, and business plotters to live out peaceful lives were the greatest mistakes made by democracies.

There’s folks on Lemmy that feel Nuremburg was a mistake and inhumane and that Streicher’s execution was wrong.
So I expect ICE agents will have plenty of supporters when/if it comes down to it.
