    A pro hac vice appearance is a legal practice that allows an attorney, who is licensed in one jurisdiction, to represent a client in a specific case in a different jurisdiction where they are not licensed to practice. The Latin means roughly “for this time only”

    Basically the judge kicked him out of the case.
