I’m sure Carney would be happy to, so long as by “protect Canada’s ‘digital sovereignty’” you mean giving up sovereignty to the US and Trump.
Yes to all the other stuff but please let the Online Harms Act stay dead. Just because all the other countries are jumping blindly off a bridge to protect the children doesn’t mean Canada needs to follow them before they’ve even hit the rocks below.
I have personally stopped using the book of Faces, I have stopped using Reddit, I have closed my twitter account. I have no idea if I have any open Microsoft accounts, I been working on closing my iCloud account most of the stuff is off of there. I stopped paying for all the US streaming things. I only have 2 remaining gmail accounts, one for removing myself from physical spam it can closed soon, and one for youtube. I have changed my search engine from Google to Ecosia, I do not know if they have stopped using Google for search yet and started using the EU search database.
I use 2 pihole’s to block most of the trackers and ads, I use Unbound as my mDNS server and a Canadian DNS server (do not remember which one). I currently use Unwatched to watch youtube, as it blocks ads. Soon I will have the parts to build my media PC, it has an ARM CPU and a Mali GPU as I did not want to pay for an x86 CPU or a new Apple computer.
I moved my blog from a US server to a Canadian one and changed it to a .ca TLDN. I have moved my cloud data to a Canadian host I have more than 160 pseudo random email addresses to block advertisers.
In short I am doing my best to protect my digital sovereignty.
I think you posted it twice in this community. Or I’m seeing things.
