The automotive industry was hardest hit, shedding around 50,000 positions, while the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors lost roughly 2,000 jobs.

    How many jobs did that same automotive industry shed in nearshoring countries like Poland and Hungary?

    Because my bet is none. And that paying bribes for the shoddy labour laws in other countries and moving jobs there to circumvent unions has always been the plan.
