Not really, SWIFT fees are pretty low. Lower than MasterCard and Visa generally charge afaik. For individual customers banks often offer it for free.

Reconciliation is a big reason, people suck at copying a reference for their manual transfers.

SWIFT is pretty low-level, e.g. a bank transfer you start in your bank app could be processed through SWIFT. But Valve probably doesn’t want to deal with reconciliation of manual transfers, so they either use payment methods running on SWIFT or other options.

Personally I do have to agree though, the website itself looks kinda scuffed.

Took me a sec but it’s Andy Jassy, CEO of AWS.

Which need is satistied is important here. Sexual gratification is not the same as an apparent need to interact with someone who affirms everything you tell it to, basically acting as a personality mirror. And then falling in love with something that echoes your every thought does have a semblance of narcissism involved.

I can tell you that most corporations, if they even have a wiki, don’t have a well-maintained one (often despite their efforts).

It was working for everyone in navigation, where angles mattered. Which is why it became the most used map.

It was phased out in favour of maps showing area more correctly, because navigation w. maps became less important, not because “it didn’t work”.

Roblox uses children as unpaid labour to produce content for their platform, as well as the risk your kid runs into nazis or pedophiles on the platform. That used to be rampant, not sure if they’ve managed to get a grip on that now.

I don’t mind a good bit of fanservice and violence, but that’s also kind of why I felt D&W was a bit disappointing. The fanservice was kinda mediocre as a lot of characters were just “mentioned” rather than properly explored, and as I said violence between unkillable characters is kinda dull. I have enjoyed a lot of the other Marvel movies though, most of them even (and that includes stuff like Age of Ultron and Iron Man 3 that a lot of people seem to like shitting on). Non-Marvel I quite liked the Dungeons & Dragons movie, I thoroughly enjoyed that one. It’s not a cinematic masterpiece or anything, but the characters are likable and have some depth and development, there’s a decent plot going on and there’s enough fanservice for DnD fans to go around.

Not OP but personally the plot was a monumental example of wasted potential with regards to the plot. The villain’s motivations being the poorest.

Even then, fight scenes between basically immortal self-healing characters are a snoozefest. Add that to the imo hit-but-mostly-miss humour and you’re just waiting for the credits to roll really.

I honestly think I’d rather watch Eternals, and that was pretty bad too.
