I am owned by several dogs and cats. I have been playing non-computer roleplaying games for almost five decades. I am interested in all kinds of gadgets, particularly multitools, knives, flashlights, and pens.
Late stage capitalism rewards management for any appearance of change. It really doesn’t matter whether the results of that change are good or bad. And even a CEO who keeps destroying companies can always find a similar position elsewhere. The feedback loop is hopelessly broken.

I hope companies eventually figure out people just aren’t that stupid. Also, I really hope that people aren’t that stupid.
On a positive note, this could be the push that America needs to get serious about mass transit.
At seventeen, I drank several beers to see if I could get used to the awful taste. The answer turned out to be “no”. It put me off alcohol for life.
I have tried various a lot of different drinks, but I have never found anything alcoholic that I actually like. I am now in my 60’s and I’m perfectly happy with not drinking.
