I would assume because windows you can work your way through things and disable all the bad stuff. Android on the other hand is becoming more restrictive every year and you can do much about it

1·1 month agoThe DNC and their backers choosing the candidates are the main reason why the dems have struggled so much in the past two presidential elections because we ended up with candidates that were not very well liked(lessor of two evil situation) having the candidate chosen sooner and with less of a choice by the people will make this even worse because dnc will choose an even more out of touch person then they normally do. Having 7 months to introduce someone to a candidate is totally enough time just look at other countries and our own history of having fantastic candidates easily able to win because they were likeable

1·1 month agoHow would this pre primary work? Would it still be a vote or would the dems establishment choose it? Just based off of how the dem establishment is currently wanting. I dont think its would be a good idea for the pre primary because if it’s similar to how they are pushing Gaven Newsome then we will be in the same boat that we were in 2020 with a mid candidate that will only win because people are upset with trump not because people really want him

5·1 month agoEh I dont see a reason for anything like a pre primary. They just need to choose someone that the working and middle class will like. The issue with the dem party is that they have super votes that allow those with money to get more of a say in who is the dem candidate. That’s a HUGE issue because it leads to these mediocre candidates being chosen that won’t change anything. One of the big reasons why trump won was because the dems kept saying things are ok and that the status quo is fine but the issue is that it’s not. people are not making enough money and the rich keep getting more money. Trump was able to lie and say that he would fix the broken system this led to a lot of people voting for him because he atleast is saying he wants to change the broken system. The dems just need to choose the person that is popular and wants to change things to improve the lives of the people. Literally if someone ran on a plan to give Medicare for all, break of mega corps, and raise taxes on the rich they would easily win because those are very popular ideas across the country. The issue is that the dems won’t choose someone like that because their corporate donors and super voters will choose the boring person.

11·1 month agoShe wouldn’t have won any of the primaries though. Ive reminded my friends irl before that she ran in 2020 and dropped out really early because no one liked her campaign a lot of dem voter in 2024 were under the impression she made it a lot further in 2020 then she did because that was the only way that her campaign to cope with the fact that she wasn’t that well liked and it was the only way that people could be hopeful leading up to the election.

5·1 month agoI think that trump can push a lot of limits because they are not written clearly so most people just shrug it off but elections and other clearly written laws he can really bend so I’m not too worried about it. He has backed down from his third term talks because its expressly forbidden

I haven’t looked into it too much but I believe the school was near a military base and the rocket malfunctioned and went off course and hit the wrong target.

There was a study last year saying that 8 billion could be super underestimating the world population.
