Funny enough, the comic this originally is from basically is closer to a “both” moment, seeing as these two got it on and had to hide it from Poison Ivy, because Janet From HR (Yes, that’s this woman’s name) was also boinking her at the time and didn’t want her to find out about Croc.

Hey now, don’t kink shame the fictional character.
That’s because this is an edit. The images have very little to do with the text, as that is not at all what was in the original panels. Also though, in the comic this is from, this absolutely ended with them making out, and getting it on. If you want to see those panels, I found them here: https://bleedingcool.com/comics/janet-from-hr-and-king-croc-together-in-poison-ivy-28-spoilers/
Monsters deserve love too, they aren’t just different shapes of Bad Dragon dildos.
You completely missed the point of what I was saying and misconstrued it entirely. I never said they were contradictory, I said that the second line makes it seem like the first line is just what she tells people so she sounds normal, and the second line reveals her true intentions.
Also, nothing implies trust in this scene, only that he told her that he plans to eat her, and she Assumed that meant she would get sexual gratification out of it, which he denied.
I like how her last line is actually very revealing about her interests. Like, nah girl, you don’t believe any of what you said before, that’s just the convenient excuse that sounds reasonable, you just don’t want to admit that you’re a freak for monsters.
DeusUmbra@lemmy.worldtoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•Sidney Sweeney with a time machineEnglish01·8 days agoI stated a fact, not any sort of worry. I stopped caring about how I and those like me are viewed some time ago, about when I started calling for the violent overthrow of the government by the people in mass revolt. I care less about randomly attacking celebs online, and far more about purchasing weapons and ammunition for the day when a “No Kings” rally turns into a revolutionary riot. I focus on spreading the word, telling people to arm themselves, organize with their communities, and prepare to fight like hell, while you seem to be far more focused on attacking anyone who does not also share your obsession with attacking celebs. Don’t worry though, after the revolution you won’t need to worry about going after celebs online anymore, as they, along with all the oligarchs, will be dragged into trials and stripped of their wealth and power.
You are right though about us not being allies, as I have no need to ally myself with pedantic children on the internet. Oh, and still think I’m a “moderate” at this point, or do I need to go into detail on my plans for putting Republican voters into re-education camps after the revolution? I doubt I will, as you’ll find that I am too far left of you and take issue with everything I have said, while once again going back to focusing on attacking celebs instead of doing anything useful, like spreading the word and convincing people to take Real action against the fascists.
DeusUmbra@lemmy.worldtoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•Sidney Sweeney with a time machineEnglish01·8 days agoI don’t see how I was dismissing anyone. I flatly gave the facts that I was aware of, and tried to avoid putting any bias into the way I phrased it, allowing for the original commenter to form their own opinion. I think you are trying to find enemies among friends, and trying to paint anyone who isn’t aggressively going after this woman and this company as fascist supporters, which is a bad look on you and anyone on the left.
DeusUmbra@lemmy.worldtoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•Sidney Sweeney with a time machineEnglish0·9 days agoFirst, why would I go out of my way to watch an ad for jeans? Secondly, I said the ad had the phrase, not that she said the phrase. Though, I was incorrect in the specific phrase, as it was actually “Sidney Sweeny has great jeans.” Third, why does this matter to you so much? It really doesn’t matter much for me, she’s just another worthless celeb with more money than sense like so many others, and she is not even near the top of my list of celebs I despise.
DeusUmbra@lemmy.worldtoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•Sidney Sweeney with a time machineEnglish0·11 days agoShe was in an ad for American Eagle and it had a slightly problematic phrase of “She’s got good jeans” as, you know, a play on good genes. Also, she is a registered Republican and wealthy, so some people take that to extremes and assume that means she is a Nazi.
