So you’re saying we’re living in Omelas but it’s only a utopia for like 100 people and everyone else is the poor child? Feels way to accurate
Yep, Schizophyllum commune, a highly schizoid mushroom, apparently has ~23000 genders. Next time a conservative complains about LGBT people making genders too complicated I’m going to throw a porcini at them.
I tried looking up if shrooms even have genders, and holy hell the wikipedia article “Mating in fungi” is one of those where you barely understand the introduction without having studied biology.

Sure, in a stable, long-teen relationship it probably won’t be an issue but I’d rather not have some random person try to drive a wedge my relationship.
This is in contrast to men, who will bring about a utopia without hunger, homelessness, war and crime. Wait.
I’d be scared he’ll try to eat it
In a good world this type of shit would be illegal. We’ll need a stop killing games petition but for organs soon
He’s joking now but just wait for the inevitable cyberdystopia where HP manufactures replacement organs.
I actually looked at a map to check if it’s really an unaltered version of Florida. It is, and it’s perfect.

It’s so predictable it’s just sad. As much as I’d like to see the current government fail I know that it would help the AfD even more. The possibility to vote for left-wing parties that might actually begin to solve some economic and social issues just doesn’t seem to be in anyone’s radar, and even if it happened the fixes would probably take years to have tangible effects.

I used those big floppy disks with some ancient hardware for running physics experiments during university in like 2015-ish, and I’m sure that exact floppy is still in use today. It’s not even a small and underfunded university or anything.
