Of course. Safety is most important. I’ve taken chairs into pasture with Sandy to hang out in the shade. I loved hearing your story! Horses are wonderful creatures and I love when people get to experience their greatness.

I ride a lot of horses that aren’t fully broke. Got thrown a few times in the past year lol. I also just like run around with Sandy and walk behind her and just do the stuff you’re usually told not to do for safety. I trust Sandy so 🤷♀️. Only time she even tried to kick me was when I was treating her thrush and her back right leg was sore from it. She apologized immediately afterwards.
Maybe? It’s kinda dangerous to do but I’ve been known to take risks with horses lmao. I’ll try it out some time and report back with my findings
Right? I’ve never seen her lay in the sun before so I panicked a little when I walked outside and saw her like that. She looked so offended that I bothered her lmao.

Her fediverse fan club makes me so happy. I told my mom about her online fans and she got the biggest smile lol.

A bridle is used for riding. Leaving a halter on when a horse is turned out is personal choice/safety thing. I leave hers on at the barn she’s currently at because she can’t really get it caught on anything there, and it’s easier to take her in if it’s already on. She’ll be moving to a new barn in a couple of weeks and she’ll have things around that the halter can get caught on, so it’ll get taken off there. Some people take halters off to keep them in good condition. I know someone with a $200 halter, so they always take that one off lol
