I’m not even a little bit concerned about his health. I guess that could be taken one of two different ways. I meant for the mean way.

I have a better idea: don’t do that.

I started smoking and drinking at 12 because I thought it would make me look cool and developed a pretty bad drinking habit in high school and college. After college it got worse and there were some severe consequences. Finally got sober at 30. I’d been trying to quit smoking for years but would always light up when I’d had a few beers and since that was pretty much all the time, I wasn’t able to quit smoking until I quit drinking.

I haven’t touched either in almost 27 years and I’m so much better off for it.

Wow, we’ve really become inured to the absurd horror of it all when “Kremlin Leaks Footage Showing Trump Fawning Over Putin” is deemed “Not really Onion-y.”

In a sane world a headline like that would be so outlandish it could only be satire.

Yeah. I still find the idea that government derives its just power from the consent of the governed and from nowhere else to be a pretty compelling idea in theory, but if this is the practical outcome, well, it sucks.

I don’t have a better plan. I wish I did.

Meanwhile trump is 2.5 years younger than Biden was when he dropped out, and has 3.5 years to go. So, the president’s age should be an even bigger issue then it was then, instead of disappearing altogether as an issue.

Glad to hear that’s still against the law in Trump’s America.
