The original game collection (1, 2, 3D, and… Fractured Furry Tales?) is coming out this year too.
Also, I guess their other two games, Paws on Fire and Woolies Strike Back are being kinda ignored here.

The biggest issues, imo, were making 2/3 of the game “follow MC due to being vaguely suspicious” and bringing back Cortana, even though it was a rampant version of the original.
The positives were Evil Cortana was the best best villain 343 has had, the Guardians were a great replacement for the Halo rings, and the gunplay was fun again. Also, Warzone was awesome.
It’s pretty much the perfect Fantastic Four movie. They’re actually characters in this one instead of caricatures of their main personality traits.
And it’s lighter on action and heavier on the story. Without giving away too much, it feels a lot more appropriate for the characters.
Omega@lemmy.worldto Television@piefed.social•What are you watching and what do you recommend this week?2·2 days agoIf I had to compare it to something I’d say like combining Death Race with Crank, except it has a bit more tongue-in-cheek humor than those. It really embraces that it’s based on video games and it’s ridiculous.
Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four were both really good. Actually, I thought Ironheart was really good too.
It really feels like every other movie since Endgame has been really good or really bad.
Ant-Man 3, The Marvels, and Captain America 4 were various degrees of not good.
Echo and Secret Invasion weren’t good either (actually, I think overall the shows have had a better track record overall).
Different person. But I thought the first two were genuinely good movies.
The third felt like an excuse for cameos and jokes. It was entertaining, but not necessarily good.

I just found out The Drew Carey show is streaming, which I didn’t think would ever happen. So that might be on the rotation going forward.
Omega@lemmy.worldto Television@piefed.social•What are you watching and what do you recommend this week?2·5 days agoI’m a different person, but I’ve heard a lot of people complain that each season has a very different feel because the circumstances are drastically different. Some people don’t vibe with each season. But I think they’re all A+ quality. (Full disclosure, it’s my favorite show of all time.)
It’s like switching to a different show. But getting upset that Breaking Bad isn’t the Sopranos. They’re both good, but different.

Still not sure why the Senator in the post doesn’t wear a seat belt.

It’s all the stuff Republicans warned people about with communism, but they’re literally doing it without the communism.

The Movement Is Growing — and It’s No Longer a Joke11·7 days agoHaving Jon only excites me in that he could get things done using his popularity. Biden got a lot done, but he used backroom deals and clever policy negotiations. But he’s one of the worst communicators of our generation. And his stubbornness may have lead to Trump (no guarantees Trump would have lost, but Biden almost guaranteed he won).
Honestly, I would have been excited to have Biden a second time over Trump, and I don’t love him to begin with.
Hell, at this point if Trump dropped dead and we somehow got Romney as president instead of the nut jobs in the maga party, I’d be pretty stoked.
TLDR: I want anyone who can move us back towards okay.
The flag is backwards. But I feel like that’s appropriate here.

Am I imagining that or did they backtrack?
I like Stranger Things. But season 1 is one of the most intense seasons of television ever. Then it switched from horror to thriller/action and none of the other seasons even come close. Still good, but not top 10 television good.
