Personally I think it was less of a problem before the influx of people from reddit, a portion of whom imported their bad behaviors. Several lemmy communities were much nicer prior, and now I don’t participate in them anymore.

(I am aware of the irony of my using a new account right now, but I was the same name on lemmy.world prior to giving piefed ago)

Excuse me wtf, we already had rules for this exact thing that apply well beyond just Venezuela and this is just avoiding enforcement.
