Yeah… The idea that its just a couple of guys joking falls apart when one of them was convicted for the crime they’re joking about…

The steam deck has helped me break this habit. I love the system itself so much that I’m kinda just not interested in stuff that won’t play on it. A big one for me is doom the dark ages.

On the other hand though, I have played so many indie games that I likely wouldn’t have otherwise played and loved all of them. It has genuinely changed the way that I play video games.
