People really seem to not care that he is transphobic… well guess I’m gonna die either way now. Wasn’t a good life, wasn’t a long one either.

It’s really sad how many people are just perfectly okay with letting me and other trans peoples rights be taken away because Newsom said a few funni things. It’s really upsetting how people in general on the left are transphobic but claim to be supportive. It’s incredibly frustrating watching people tell me I should support Newsom even though he is vocally against my rights. Sorry I don’t want to have to choose between a fascist who wants to blame and attack my people and a fascist-life who wants to blame and attack my people.

Yeah I hate the Newsom hype. So many people just forgot or don’t care that he invite people like Charlie Kirk onto his podcast and agreed with them on transphobic talking points. Even if he’s just trying to do it to appeal to republican voter it’s really stupid. Their voters don’t want a fascist-lite when a full on fascist is right there. All he does is drag the democrats further right and normalize transphobic talking points. Which leads to violence and more deaths like what happened with Nex Benedict.

Poor kids are gonna either end up with so many mental scars and have to just live with it since our society is so fucked up that they will probably try to outlaw therapy.

His rhetoric isn’t just bad, it’s disastrous because it will likely encourage more people to follow suit in being willing to throw my people away. More violence and murders like what happened with Nex Benedict will become the norm. He won’t pull fascists away from the fascist party, he will lose vote from trans people though. You can’t expect us to support him if he is saying the exact same things as the full on fascists.

Sadly this isn’t just a problem with boomers and other older generations, it’s taking root in the younger ones too. Which makes it all the harder for us just to live normal lives. Myself and all of my trans friends are terrified, we have to rely on deeply unhealthy coping mechanisms just to survive. It is leading to more self harm and suicides in the trans community. Newsom and other democrats embracing this hateful ideology will, and is, lead to more suicides because it isolates us.

It will be decades of horrors for my people, ones that many of us will not live through. That’s why it’s so important to call out his bullshit now, before we see how awful it will reach.

If he wants to appeal to fascists it’s gonna end the same way it has before. He’s gonna lose because why would fascists vote for the fascist-lite when a full fledged fascist is right there. All he does in the end is make it more acceptable to strip my people of rights.

Maybe something on the level or worse than the pandemic happens and he can get in on that. But he still did major harm to my people, harm that cannot be undone fully for decades if not longer.

Either way he is playing with a dangerous ideology that will get trans people killed. Maybe not state sponsored but remember what happened with Nex Benedict, when this toxic hateful ideology becomes normalized it encourages violence.

I’m gonna vote in the primaries for whoever is willing to stand up for human rights, which includes trans rights. If my choices in the general are a fascist who’s gonna strip my rights and another fascist who’s gonna stripe my rights but now in blue, then sorry I’m not gonna go.

I actually have principles and morals so I’m gonna stick to it. It’s not worth deciding what color the wood chipper that’s gonna kill me is. I shouldn’t have to accept that I won’t live to see my thirties, accept that I likely won’t live to see the end of the decade but here I am. That’s the reality I have to accept because of people like you.

It’s sad that people like you think I should just roll over and give up my rights and accept death. It’s sad that you want to use my people and then toss us aside like a used tissue when we aren’t politically expedient.

Once my people’s rights are tossed aside, then the floodgates are open and all of human rights are as good as gone. I will not live to say I told you so because of the way things are going. I mean the problem with any projection of earth onto a 2d simplified shape surface is that it will be inherently distorted. The Mercator projection is scaled properly towards the equator but has to scale upwards more and more toward the poles to be able to fit the given area.

Even their own map, which for some reason isn’t shown in either the video or on the main page, isn’t accurate either. It’s better but is also warped in its own way, it would be nice if they had a little blurb that says something to that effect.
