  • I don’t think his method is correct. States must already know where people live otherwise, how can they gerrymander? A possible computer program would have a cursor start from the top left of a state and move right. The cursor’s vertical distance would be preset. Once it counts a specific number of people, it would draw a district and continue. When it reaches the right border of a state it would go down and move right. Have companies bid on a redistricting program to see if it’s achievable.

  • Mixing but only to a certain extent. Animals including humans are naturally altruistic toward their relatives. The biological purpose is to promote their genes. That’s the reason Scots form clans. Some ethnic mixing is good because different ethnic groups have genes that other groups might not have but this should not reach a point where an ethnic group’s identity is wiped out because of mixing. Think of the Olympic flag which has 5 rings The rings overlap but only partially. North Korea is poor not because of ethnonationalism but poor government. China, Japan, and Russia are examples of homogeneous societies which are doing well.

  • Decades ago, Trump’s extreme policies regarding border security would never have been necessary because there would never have been a flood of illegal migrants. In the 1960s, the Civil Rights movement began. Even nonwhite US citizens faced discrimination.

No, politics too far to the left produces far-right parties. One of Trump’s top campaign issues was tougher border security. The AfD party is becoming popular because of its anti-immigration stance. It has been stopped by Merz’s centrist views.

  • You continually refuse to explain how you would make my example computer program partisan. My hamburger making analogy shows that it’s not possible to alter the software program for other reasons. The head of the company making the program might be sexual promiscuous but that won’t affect the program.

The Senate just ended the partial shutdown without curbs on ICE. It appears Senate Democrats agree with me that they might get the blame for the long lines at airports.
