If that’s your perspective, is anyone ever responsible for anything? Or is it all just genetics and hormones

5·3 days agoWhile there is 100% an element of sexism here, I also think there’s an element of these specific people having first names that are more specific identifiers. If you say Clinton, you may not effectively convey which one without more context, and Harris is a very common last name, whereas Trump, Biden, and Obama are very unique names.
People have never hesitated to say Pelosi, Klobuchar, or Slotkin, for example.

1·3 days agoYeah mine is oatmeal with walnuts, honey, coconut, and a bit of cocoa powder with a scoop of cottage cheese. Classic American breakfast 😂

7·4 days agoWhen you say “American breakfast,” we do have that sometimes, but what it actually consists of and the quality (e.g. type of bacon or sausage, how the eggs are cooked) varies widely. Where I live, breakfast tacos are much more common than the stereotypical American breakfast though

68·4 days agoThat’s…not a simple mistake. Like…what was the plan after the liver came out? It sounds like the guy legitimately believed it was a spleen…

1·6 days agoFrom a geopolitical perspective, attacking a Venezuela-registered fishing boat is fundamentally different from attacking a Chinese- or Indian-registered oil tanker. Most of the boats they’ve attacked in the Caribbean were actually stateless and weren’t registered anywhere

There are a number of data points discussed in the article, including self-report surveys and BLS data. I would hesitate to riff off any title of a news article, though, they’re often not written by the article’s author and are purposefully written to drive engagement

10·9 days agoFor those unaware, it’s already been federal law for many decades that 18-26 year old men have to register for the draft, and it’s a felony not to. This law just makes it so people are less likely to accidentally commit a felony. There still hasn’t been a draft since 1973, and if there were one today, it would not go over well

You’re making it sound like people are saying left and right that gender equality doesn’t exist, when literally no one here is saying that. The comments you’re referring to say the Epstein case isn’t a gender issue, which is very different from what you’re incorrectly perceiving
