I wonder if people are rushing to get it with the expectation there will be a ban coming in the near future.

Maybe Navidrome’s jukebox mode, although I suspect it’s a slightly different idea (and it was a bit buggy last time I tried it).
Many don’t run into dir structure issues because they have already organised their libraries with beets or an equivalent. I don’t personally have any issues with playing albums either. Some of the issues you are talking about seem to be client side, are you only testing the web interfaces?
Dsub2000 and Tempo are active FOSS alternatives.
Not my code to be clear. Maister also recently got FSR4 working on Linux, among many other contributions.
WiVRn is for VR, and I doubt it has any support for non-VR applications. It’s FOSS of course so maybe it could be adapter for that use case, but it’s probably better to integrate it into the likes of Sunshine/Moonlight.
The algorithm and code were only released a couple of months ago so it’s very early days.

It’s best with dual AMD GPUs, and maybe Intel. YMMV once you throw Nvidia into the mix.
SVT-AV1 has also had some pretty major improvements in recent months and years. It’s possible if tested even a year ago it will be significantly faster for the same quality today.
On Steam, Japanese language has grown from 0.85% in July 2015, to 2.56% in July 2025.
Is that Steam users that have set Japanese as their main language or the proportion of games that include Japanese language support?
They seem to all be committed to limiting this feature to the pro market, which is a shame. At least AMD and Intel have native context support, although it’s very early days and Linux host and guests only for now.
Look into the notion of the circular economy if you want to investigate this further, although it goes well beyond just recycling.
