    That’s just obviously an error by someone untrained in close combat

    1. why was the gun not in his holster? He even looked for it
    2. why was the suspect almost able to grab the gun? Could have let to the victim killing 3+ officers
    3. He clearly panicked, wanted to be in possession of the gun at all cost. This caused him to involuntarily pointing the gun at civilians. Involuntarily, because of the way you have to hold the gun while on ground. The error was him wanting to hold the gun in the hand, instead of getting to his knees first, while holding the gun down to the ground with one hand.

    You can clearly see that they are physically out of shape and now have to wear a vest + equipment.
