I will believe it when I see it, frankly. I’m kind of expecting this to be essentially just a performative thing, and then as good ol’ Joe said back in the 2019 campaign, “nothing will fundamentally change”. It’s just political kabuki to placate the rubes.

Its hard not to feel frustrated we couldn’t have done this sooner. It feels like it must be much harder now, given how us politics have gone.

But now well try to fix it, because we as a party can’t try to benefit from the same dysfunction that robs the American people of their political agency.

I don’t have the energy to read the article right now. I have to hope I’m wrong. That somehow they’ll succeed in some capacity, against the odds.
