Excuse me. I installed this and now my computer loads fast. When I download things, it goes into a folder instead of the cloud. Updates are easy. And also, it gives me Firefox and duckduckgo, instead of forcing me to use internet explorer. I went to a weird site that forced a .exe file on my computer called notAVirus and when I tried to open it, nothing happened because it said I didn’t have a particular windows kernel file.
How do I make this experience more shitty?
What’s the next best thing to changing operating systems?
Trusting some random GitHub script.
Might as well rip off that band aid, they’re obviously not going to stop trying to cram stupid shit into windows.

If you want to strip windows of practically everything, you may enjoy revi.cc
Inb4 (too late) all the Linux spam from those who just can’t get over the fact that some of us just don’t want to use the fucking OS.
Thanks for providing actual help.
And then Microsoft will change shit. And this will have to catch up. Or they’ll find a way to prevent this from working. And this will have to catch up.
Or just install Linux. Like if you live in a web browser there’s no reason not to. Many games work fine too. Basically only hooped with ms office (but in most cases, libre office is a better product) and adobe and cad software.
I just bought a new laptop for school as we are required to use windows. So thanks so much for this.
Have two partitions.
One for windows and school.
The other for your personal, which could be Linux.
Never link the two. If your school forces you to put a surveillance app on your computer (they’ll call it something else like a login app), it wont transmit anything on the personal side.
Only if you use disc encryption for the personal partition. Otherwise the surveillance software under windows will still scan your linux partition while windows is runing
Do they not allow virtual machines?
Mine didn’t.
I used one anyway. It worked fine.
Why would anybody ask?
Just do it.
If I was a as tech admin at a school, I wouldn’t want any headaches and just tell people to use the software I gave them, no exceptions. Because I make half as much in salary as a as a private company, I can’t handle doing tech support for edge cases.
