My point is that long term it’s even less money for the actors than just the low upfront payment. Yes, they got some upfront, but it was a bad deal and could cost them future projects. It obviously makes sense for TikTok and I doubt the companies using the ai for ads are scrupulous enough to care what else the ai they selected is selling. I’m just saying it’s double stupid to do this. You’re not getting paid enough upfront and you’re also potentially losing jobs because of this.
