Same thoughts here as another non-American. I get they have shit candidates but Americans need to realize that ANYONE is better than Trump at this point. And huge emphasis on at this point based on these replies. Even the worst Democrat is still better than the average Republican.
There’s a civil war brewing, there are people taking over the government, and the left is still hung up on getting the perfect Democrat speaking up, like, not even a candidate. If my government were to turn against the entire population, you bet your ass I’m giving up my gay rights because I understand those are a luxury under a stable government. How could possibly fight for them later under a fascist regime that wants to actively kill me??
