I’ve had updates fail on NixOS. A kernel update didn’t generate the initramfs and the system wouldn’t boot. Booting to a previous generation and reapplying the update fixed it.

This is very rare, though, and unlike Arch can be fixed without a Live USB.

Right? Quadrupling the RAM isn’t a minor upgrade. I’m not sure what OP is ranting about.

Wikipedia has a toggle at the top to switch to the previous, inferior version.

Text is much easier to read if it isn’t too wide. Using all the available horizontal space is bad because it makes you move your eyes a lot more.
