You won’t regret it. When I switched, I realised just how much it felt like I was just renting my OS from Windows.

Sure - the right were whipped up into a nationalist fury and the left were turned into useful idiots, arguing over trivial issues while the 0.01%, who do not sit on left or right, point and laugh. The only reasonable option is anarchy.
Like I said, I will eat downvotes but you can see evidence of this up and down this comments section.
“The left is the side that fights the elite” Aw, bro. Both sides are being played. Don’t let my impending downvotes or your upvotes make you think otherwise.

I’ve been picking up on this too. I think that wherever American politics appears on a social app, a legion of bots are sent and things go weird.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What video game did you not expect to like as much as you did?
4·15 days agoThis game was a real rollercoaster for me. I had low expectations for HZD and became obsessed with completing it. I was then totally hyped for HFW and gave up halfway through, utterly disapointed.

Is it passive income if you write a really good book and get royalties once a month? Because thats where my brain went and I was really confused.
Yup. America isn’t great by any means but at least America has things like Pride, Black History Month, and civil rights. A lot of countries couldn’t care less.

I do understand that anarchism is left, but it is almost far left and off-the-scale, it is outside the confides of the political spectrum almost, as it allows people immediate and direct democracy regardless of their political leaning.
However, there is such a thing as left-leaning authoritarianism. People seem to be rose-tinted is their view of the left as a free and positive ideology when it has its own trappings which are often parallel to the right. Both sides of the spectrum and notably those that claim to perpetuate it can’t be trusted imo.
