Canada is exporting to the US, not the other way around. We can’t tariff our own exports.

I think we’ve seen enough of liberalism to know this is just marketing slop. Liberalism is the belief that profit-maximizing capitalism is compatible with democracy.
As the article explains very clearly, this goes way beyond incompetence. It is most certainly deliberate.
I’m surprised there’s no mention in this report of the possibility of electrifying and developing public transit across Canada. There is still too much emphasis on individual vehicles, which are very wasteful regardless of the energy source.
