“Best” part of this is that our public health insurance pays out for this nonsense. Some providers allow you to opt out but I don’t think the majority of Germans bother.

Cinnamon (its default desktop environment) is very usable, especially if you’re used to Windows.

Other than that I’d say Linux is finally ready for the desktop. Proton was the straw that broke Microsoft’s back for me.
