For context: People has been arguing about the “Type A/B” which is just the same as “Are you a Girl/Boy” with a different name, but because of how they weaponized that kind of stuff some companies don’t want use it to look like if they’re appealing to the bigots or something like that. And of course they’re shitting on Bandai for being “too woke” without even knowing this stuff.

They even’t booted the demo, but if you play enough you can see that Devimon (which is one evolution from one of the starter) evolves to LadyDevimon. This kind of stuff has been possible in the franchise like for ever is just that the anime doesn’t show it (Specially the older seasons)

    If you like Tamagochi like games, there’s Digimon World PS1 (which may don’t hold up these days), Digimon World Redigitize Decoded, Digimon World Next Order. For RPG Pokemon-like styles there’s the original Digimon Story games for NDS (rebranded as Digimon World DS in western), Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition for PC and Swich (For og cyber sleuth in psvita/ps4 you may have to look for a physical copy). And of course if you want the new game Time Stranger which has a public demo rn
