Story checks out!
I see zero issues with that gift
That’s an incredible selfie in that post.
i mean i can’t eat cheese that fast but fuck yeah
I mean, I love cheese, but don’t litter or steal shoes, especially just one shoe. Rude.
Awesome username.
From what I can see it’s the only sane option on the page
My sister’s Achilles heel is string cheese, so this would definitely work on her. I used it for the opposite. I’d give her string cheese if she agreed to leave me alone and go away.
Shhhhhh!!! Don’t tell my wife why the dogs always listen to me! And why they have trouble losing weight…
ruv rue
Like religious text logic but less ambiguity...
Actually, I had a moment of curiosity about the word choice with fascinate here.
Etymology
Borrowed from Latin fascinātus, perfect passive participle of fascinō (“to enchant, bewitch, fascinate”) (see -ate (verb-forming suffix)), from fascinum (“a phallus-shaped amulet worn around the neck in Ancient Rome; witchcraft”) + -ō (verb-forming suffix), itself of obscure origin.Verb
fascinate (third-person singular simple present fascinates, present participle fascinating, simple past and past participle fascinated)
- To evoke an intense interest or attraction in someone.
The flickering TV fascinated the cat. - To make someone hold motionless; to spellbind.
We were fascinated by the potter’s skill. - To be irresistibly charming or attractive to.
Her gait fascinates all men.
- To evoke an intense interest or attraction in someone.
What type of cheese tho…
Also I want to eat a entire brick of Roquefort now.Why only 1? I suggest a cheese crawl! Of course this map is incomplete, there are far more options but its difficult to fit them all on a single map.
Yarg is absolutely delicious NGL.
I find this image deeply disappointing, because it’s impossible to do a connected cheese pilgrimage. I imagine it would be possible to connect it up though — it would just involve finding cheese belonging to areas that are between the existing ones (and as you highlight, there are far more cheeses than the ones on this map)
(Diogenes, picking up a mouse) “Behold, a woman!”
I do this for my wife all the time. When she’s lounging and chilling, I’ll just come in, bring her a slice of an aged cheddar or gouda, and leave in silence, not even interrupting whatever she’s reading.
Well, my experiments indicate, that the other half of the spell is missing: you need to combine grapes with the cheese.
instructions unclear. is it rue as in the herb ruta graveolens or rue as in the archaic noun meaning sorrow / repentance / regret / pity / compassion?
I’d love to know which book this is if anyone knows.
My search skills didn’t return anything matching, although I did find a book about Egyptian burial rights …
appears to be from Kathryn Paulsen, The Complete Book of Magic and Witchcraft
The Complete Book of Magic and Witchcraft, apparently. Article doesn’t give an author.

Interesting, did they touch on Egyptian burial rites as well or just stick to rules about things people are allowed to do?
Definitely neither! Well perhaps the first … Spells on how to give the dead their heart, speech, etc. back:
