Well, most Mormons are conservatives in line with normal conservative ideology. My dad was kind of fucked up by Kirk’s death and said he was a good guy my mom is a little more conservative than the average shitlib, and said that nobody deserves death without a trial. I told her that he didn’t do anything illegal (well, I can’t remember if he did or not), but he deserved it anyways. Those are “normal” Mormons, that are in the main church with the doorknocking and genocide. Desnats are even worse. Desnats are Deseret Nationalists. Deseret was meant to be a country that took up several states worth of land, just for Mormons. Basically tried to create a theocratic ethnostate. The several states part failed, they got Utah instead. Desnats still want Deseret to be a thing. The other weird group is polygamist compound residents, that have their kids so repressed that they fuck animals sometimes.
yeah i’ve had a few run-ins with deznats online and in person. they’re the loud “round up anyone who isn’t like us and exterminate them” type and best avoided. i can see one of them doing kirk simply because he wasn’t mormon or far right enough.
